Book Lottery
To introduce and garner enthusiasm for new children's literature, at random times, Mr. Sammons drops a book off in a classroom. Inside the book is a random amount of numbered lines. Whomever receives the book reads it and places his/her name on the next available line. Then, he or she passes the book on to anyone else in the building. ANY ADULT can read the new book, including teachers, secretaries, custodians, and cooks. The book reading and passing repeats until the last line is filled when the book is returned to Mr. Sammons. At the next team meeting, a random number generator is used to choose one of the numbers and that person wins the book!
